Self Positioning Memory Seats[V70/1999] posted by Peter Cohen on

I get the impression that the S80 memory seats will position themselves when you unlock the doors according to which key fob unlocked the car.
Unless I'm mistaken, this feature is not available on the V70.

When my wife finds out about this, I'm sure I will be tasked with designing a retrofit. (The Chrysler Town & Country LXi minivan does this, and my wife describes it as "Not only does it know you're coming, it knows who you are!")

Does anyone know the workings of this system? What components transmit the signal from the lock system receiver to the power seat logic?
