Under the left side dash up high on the far left is the ABS control unit in a bracket onto which attaches a silver relay that has a red fuse holder on top. This a surge protection relay that is designed to protect ABS control unit from overvoltage by purposely blowing the fuse which feeds control unit. Jumping car off while battery is DEAD is almost always going to cause a momentary voltage spike due to dead battery not dampening the alternator output. The fuse is a 10 A push in type.
