Window Weatherstrip[200/80] posted by Victor Viscomi on

I E-mailed Boston Volvo Village for a price on the rubber "scraper" molding on the outside bottom of the door window, and they quoted me $59 each! Is that possible? 60 bucks for a two-foot long piece of rubber? That's a lot, even for Volvo! Heck, that's more than I'd expect from Ferrari!

Where does everyone else get this stuff from? I temporarily glued a reasonable facsimile in place, but I'd much rather have something that slides into the chrome channel, like the original (but not for 60 bucks).

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the "scraper" includes the chrome thst surrounds the window and the seals on the front and rear edges of the window, too.
IMHO, you've already found the best solution.
