Watch out for the tab washer on the in-board end of the outer tie rod (the end that threads onto the steering rack). When removing the tie rod, the little tab that fits into the slot of the rack will break off when applying removal torque. The purpose of this washer is to keep the tie rod end from rotating and coming loose without you knowing about it. Pick a couple up ahead of the job, or you can use some 18 gauge sheet metal and an hour or two to make new ones during the job as I had to do.
