The switch is the electrical part only. It is easy to replace by removing the plastic covers on steering column and then undoing the two screws that hold switch to lock.
If you mean the lock cylinder where key inserts, then that is a whole 'nother ballgame. This requires drilling out the sheared head security bolts that hold cylinder to the steering column.
