Scott,
You are correct in that I am one of those LINK persons (Low Income, No Kids).
The S80 has welded nuts in three places on forward edge of parcel shelf. The parcel shelf snaps out by pushing upward with seats folded forward. There is a kit that contains the tether brackets, spacers, bolts, and snap on covers. The parcel shelf cover has to be cut to allow the bolt to pass through in any of the three places (or all three places) in which you want to locate an anchor point.
