There is a harness made available just for the addition of phones without getting into the wiring harness and effecting the warranty. The small harness connects between the Radio and the cars harness and provides a power, ground, and lighting input to the external phone. Ask a retailer for P/N 9204981 accessories connector. You can also get the mini timer connector you need to run longer wires from the adapter.
