Use synthetic ATF.
- Drain the fluid from the trany pan.
- Fill it up with new ATF.
- Disconnect the return line by the trany (it is the upper line on the radiator that goes back to the trany).
Slide clear plastic hose over the disconnected line and ask somebody to start the engine.
When you see air babbles coming out from the line shut off the engine.
- Repeat the procedure one more time and you are done.
This way you replace the fluid from the torque converter.
