Just got back from http://www.NHTSA.gov.

There is a Tech Service Bulliten on the ignition switch...

TSB: 980501980002
BULLETIN SEQUENCE NUMBER: 199
DATE OF BULLETIN: 9809

SUBJECT: Info on starter switch/ignition switch replacement.

Also wanted to add that I have left TCFH sitting for two months and when I went to start it, it turned right over.

In the Clean Air Act Database, the following entry was found:

"Description: Service Campaign No: 83D, Starter/Ignition Switch
Replacement. This item contains references to: TP6001201.

Model: S70/V70

Year: 1998

This may be worth investigating. I know I'm going to, for an ignition switch that sometimes proves *impossible* to put the key into.
