It is a cinch to change. It is just held in by a spring and a plunger. I found that it is much easier if you remove the front of the air box from the car and take out the flapper assembly to work on it. The whole job takes about 10 minutes with a wrench and a screwdriver.

How did your old AMM fail? Was it the wire burned out or the electronics fried?
