Mostly correct Don, the sprag clutch (one way cluch) transmits power in any forward gear when OD is off with some aid from the inside surface of cone clutch. The inside surface of cone clutch is the only power flow when in reverse and is why if you accelerate hard in reverse you will feel it slip and it will whine for a few feet until the oil is displaced between cone clutch and the driven conical face of output shaft/annulus gear and clutch firmly locks.
