I used a original Talbot Berlin on one of my earlier P1800s.
Your can (slightly) see it here:

Talbot mirrors were used frequently on the P1800 as the vehicle were
delivered without outside mirrors until the late '60s from the factory.
In countries requiring outside mirrors various ones were mounted (by the
dealership?). That's why every early P1800 has a different mirror in a
different location.

The Talbot is high quality (better than the Volvo one) but quite
expemsive.
My recommendation would be:

- either get a used (cheaper) one
- or try to buy one of the English sports style mirrors (similar style,
also good quality, but only one third in price)
These were used on Triumph, MG, etc.
