Homemade tools[200/84] posted by Don Foster on
Tuesday, 13 October 1998, at 9:16 a.m.

Several have asked for sketches of homemade special tools. Links to my sketches are below. There's nothing unusual -- I patterned them after existing tools, and built them purely for my personal use and satisfaction. A few more are underway.

Now I'm sure others have different approaches to working on their Volvos -- and some may be far, far better than even the Volvo engineers ever imagined. But please -- I don't want to hear that these tools are stupid, wrong, or pollute the environment. I'm only responding to a request from others, not forcing my opinion down your throat. Go pound your chest elsewhere.
