Here's a detailed message for you. Open the hood and stand facing the engine. Behind the engine (go to the left side of the car), you will see what looks like a aluminum piece of metal sticking out of the back side of the engine. This is the heatshiled that covers the turbo unit. There are four bolts to remove. Two are easy to see. They connect a metal piece to the heatshiled. Underneath this metal piece (once removed) is a third bolt that connects the shield to the engine. On the left side of the heat shiedl there is abolt with a metal spring attached to it (actually two of them but we are talking about the top bolt). This is a hard bolt to loosen but it wll come loose. This one took a long time to get out because it's a long bolt. After taking off all four bolts, remove the heat shield. The turbo unit is surprisingly small. You will see a long metal rod. This is the rod everyone is talking about. Continue with the instructions found in the other thread about turning the nut.
Good luck
