The best place for jackstands is at the jacking points. If you have K Mart jackstands, throw them away and buy real ones. A broken pelvis (simple) costs around $6500.00, a crushed skull costs your family zillions, until they pull the plug, and a good set of jackstands cost around $45.00. --
