Just because those parts were replaced doesn't mean they were bad.
A high number of components get repalced when the only fault is with the connections. Replacing the component will get you a better connenction and remedy the problem.
The thermostat in the air cleaner housing is a critical component in that it will cause excessive temp in incoming air which will give poor performance and will cause MAF sensor to not be cooled and causes failure of that part.
When you remove air filter element you will see a rounded hinged "door".
This should be closed to the side that you can identify as having the silver exhaust heated air tube attached to it whenever the out side temp is 60 deg. F.
