What type of compressor do you have? I am not that familar yet with the Diesel-Kiki compressor, but if you have the York compressor, you can remove the clutch without recapturing the refrigerant. Disconnect the a/c clutch electrical connection. Loosen the a/c compressor clutch pulley bolt. Then you will need to remove the outer portion of the crankshaft pully by removing six bolts in order to take off the a/c belt. Keep track of the number of shims and their location. Remove the a/c pulley bolt and the four bolts that hold the clutch assembly to the compressor. The clutch assembly should pull right off. I not, now you will need an 1/2" coarse threaded bolt about an 1/2-1" in lenght. Screw it into the place where you removed the clutch bolt, you may have to hold the clutch pulley to keep it from from turning, and the assembly should now come off. Good luck.
