With any luck I will be the proud owner of a 64 1800S (#8558) by early Summer. The car is in incredibly good shape; hasn't been driven for a few years and has me as excited as I have been about a car for years. One problem though; No interior. I will need to obtain seats (front and rear) headliner, door panels. Really the only pieces that I will have are the Instruments, dash & steering wheel. I would appreciate any comments regarding the acquisition of the needed parts. I am also contemplating aftermarket tires/wheels and all of the ipd suspension goodies I can get my hands on. Suggestions on sizes etc. ? This will be my maiden voyage in a Brick and all of my racer friends think that I sustained a head injury over the Winter. Boy are they wrong. Thanks.

Congrats on the P-1800. I once owned a '71 E and thoroughly enjoyed the car. Check out the Volvo Sports America Club; it is dedicated to the P-1800 and should provide plenty of resources. When you join, you get a monthly (I think) newsletter and they have chapter meetings as well as a national. I believe ipd has their contact number listed on their web page (www.ipdusa.com). If I remember correctly, the '64 will have a 4 1/2" bolt circle on the wheels. This is the same as Ford, so you can run 14" rims of many discriptions, or 15". Ipd raced one of these for some time and can probably give assistance on max. tire sizes. Good luck!
