My 245 no longer shifts into overdrive. 130k mi, and the light indicating that the od is off only shuts off occasionally.Is it time for a rebuild? How much will that cost? Are there options, such as aftermarket tranny's?

Have O/D relay checked, 99% of time that is problem, fairly inexpensive part.

OD relay was the trouble on my 244DL with 150k on it,also check the wiring
from Shift handle to the trans,mine was cracking and I repaired it before
it caused troubles.....good luck
