Windscreen Fogging[850/1995] posted by Nanda Kumar on

My P1800 has the problem of whitening opacity near edges.
I think this has something to do with the water seeping through bad rubber seals.
Does anyone know whether this can be remedied or will I have to change the otherwise good windscreen?

Appreciate any feedback
Thanks.

I think your windshield is suffering from DELAMINATION. Basicly the 2 pieces of glass and the membrane between them are slowly separating. This is not a reversable process, once it starts-it will slowly continue until it feels like stopping.

Replacement is the only way to fix the problem. Depending on the state you live in, this may be a reason to your fail annual vehicle safety inspection.
