How tough is it to get to the reverse light switch, or the wires. I do not have reverse lights and the overdrive has been hot wired. PO put a switch on the dash . He said the relay was bad. My guess is both the reverse and 4th gear wires gor disconnected. How do you get to them. 86 740 Turbo wagon. Also what octane gas should I be using. By the way the PO said she has got close to 300K. Just got the odometer working again. Shows 220K.
Anybody ever heard of the speedometer reading like the tach. At a stop the spedo reads like the tach. If you rev the engine the tach and spedo both rise. Miles are also adding on. ?????
Other than these few minor problems it is a strong running car.
