I'm just buying a 1994 940 SE Turbo Estate. Any advice on what to look out for mechanics, etc. Handling.

Thanks for your help

Ray

Ray,

Mechanically the 940 SE Wagon is similar to the '90 760 Turbo Wagon, with minor differences in trim. My Dad currently has a '91 940 SE Wagon and has had no reliability or maintenance problems to date other than replacing the battery last fall.

With all of the luxury trappings on the SE, make sure all of the power amenities are working properly. Other than that, it should be a pretty solid car. Since it's a wagon it should be an easy candidate for handling modifications (sway bars, load springs, etc.).

Good luck!

Regards,

Eric
