Chris, It is unclear whether your A/C is cutting off on turbo boost or you are just not getting vaccuum to keep the vents open. I just had this same problem on my NON turbo 1989 740. If your vents are closing off it is because there is no vacuum to keep them open. On the driver side of the engine below the intake you will find a rather thick vacuum hose leading to the front of the car. Follow this hose to the front. The vacuum reservoir is actually inside the Front Bumper( I didn't believe it the first time someone in this forum told me that). But, it really is there, a long black plastic bottle. in my case there was a vacuum plug on the other end of the reservoir which had a crack in it. I replaced the plug and I had air at full blast all the time regardless of the vacuum load on the engine. This was a $1.85 repair. E-Mail me with any questions null
