George ---
The right front fender, hood, radiator, etc., was replaced. No rags, tape, or anything in the induction system (isn't that more on the left side of the car?). However, I admit I never thought to ask that very good question!
AMM was fine (exchanged into a good-running car). Anyway, we unplugged it to simulate "limp home".
As far as I can tell, they broke the wire inside the insulation at the supprression relay -- which we found and fixed. But our "no-start" condition was something they did, after that, compounded by what we did by misleading ourselves.
