Paul, the Cat is clear and there is only a minor oil film from the turbo.
I had my boost sol. valve bypassed for awhile also but returned it back to stock about a year ago.
How do I set my wastegate up from scratch?? I will test the actuator at the hose that goes directly to it.
I'm also concerned about the actuator rod snapping back about 1/4-5/16" when disconnected from the wastegate lever. Shouldn't it just snap back about 1/16"??
Thanks,

Phil

You'll need a calibrated boost gauge in the car and a helper to drive or read the gage. It needs to be hooked up near the (tee'd) waste gate actuator. Run the line inside the car, through the window. Unplug electrical connector for BSV.

Drive car like a maniac to keep RPM's at 3000. Stock boost should be between 7.1 and 8.2 at 3000 rpm. Adust as necessary. One full turn of the threaded portion on the end is about 0.25 PSI. Do not allow rod to turn diaphram.

I don't really know how much "snap back" is acceptable, as the important thing is that it works with pressure. --
