ABS Light[740-760/'90] posted by Bob C. on

The ABS light on my '90 740T Wagon came on as soon as I started the car after lunch today (very hot, very humid). And it stayed on after I drove it and after restarting the engine a couple of times.

I read the recent thread about "ABS light / front wheel bearing" but most of that discussion dealt with problems with the car in motion. Where might I start when the light comes on when the car is not moving?

Also, does the speedometer run off a sensor and not a mechancial cable?

Thanks.

Bob
