gary,

resurfacing of any volvo rotor is not advised by volvo. if the purpose of resurfacing is to get a smooth surface. taking off a 1/1000th of an inch is considered ok. any more is not advised. remember that the brake rotor has to disapate heat as well. removing metal does not help that cause. here at the volvo dealer i work for we do not even own a brake lathe.
