I'll admit I have given the chat little attention since I implemented it
a while ago. However, I have been made interested in this again.
I have made some improvements to the chat script including
cookie support so that your handle is automagically entered when you arrive.

Also, I just added a user list so that you can see active users. Tomorrow
I will be adding an optional e-mail entry so that you can click on the user list
to send a message directly to a user. I will also be adding a way for
people to send messages only to you via the chat script (a la irc).

So, if you want to show up for a session they are open every day form 4: - 5:pm and 9: - 10:pm (Central Time).
Please give this a try. The sessions are short to condense usage. Also, complex technical stuff can be taken back to the board forum.
Chat is just a chance to have some quality time with the good people of this forum.

p.s. I could do a more complex Java version but I am reluctant to move
in this direction just yet. Get ready though. I have some java up my sleave that is going to
make things easier and faster all around the brickboard. I will be
writing in non-java support (cookies again) for those who can't handle the demands of java
or just prefer not to go java. Those who can do it with their machines should get a copy of
the new Netscape 4 Communicator (it rocks with java).
