1985 740GLE Turbo Auto/OD[ALL/1988] posted by Sam on

The driver side electric window dosen't want to stop when it reaches the
top jam. It continues to keep trying to run unless I release the button.
The other windows seem to know they are at the top and quit trying. I just
purchased this car and don't know much about turbos. Are there any special
needs besides normal 3000 mile oil and filter changes? I do know that it
should have somw cool down time before shut down, what is a good rule for
this? Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry Sam

the Volvo electric windows have no idea when to shut off. The motor will stall just as long as you care to hold the button down.

Secret Volvo Tip!!! (DON'T DO THAT!)
