Thank you all for your comments and responses re: '89 780(2?) Bertone.
On Monday, I posted a description of my visit with the owner, complete with details. The car is immaculate, always garaged, oil every 3K, 126K miles showing, and priced at $10K. Still appears showroom new. original paint, never wrecked. Owners tel number available if anyone's interested.
Don't know why the original post didn't show up on the board. Do not have time to tell the story over again. Jarrod - I checked the preview and it did show as posted, What's up? There's no sign of the post. Probably, I'm wrong again...???

Jim-It's a turbo 4 and you could eat off the engine! Owner said he's always used synthetic oil. Called it 'turbo oil. I questioned him and it turned out to be syn. Don't know what brand, however. Had I not already committed to my existing Bertone, I'd buy this car in a New York minute! The guy paid $38+K in '89. He's asking... "around $10K"... He's up to his neck in expen$ive cars. Nice guy-COO of Mackie Audio gear up in Woodinville, WA. I'm sure he needs to clear the driveway and... can probably afford some negotiation re:price.
