IPD (1-800-444-6473)DOES sell K&N air filters, and just about everything else.

I have had K&N air filters in my 1985 BMW 325e, my 1997 Jetta, and now in my 1985 245 turbo. I reccomend using the factory airbox with the filters. My Jetta has a conical-shaped filter in lieu of the factory setup. Cool air temps are best acheived by using the factory box.

In the BMW, a slight (~3hp) gain, in the Jetta, (~3 hp gain, APS claimed 5), and in the Volvo 245 turbo, much, much more. I would estimate (by seat-of-the-pants) about 7 hp, perhaps more. Plus, lifetime warranty. 'Nuff said.

Good luck,

Ted Y.
