The increase in traffic has forced me to face the need for a magazine style forum. I will divide the BrickBoard up into categories (have given it much thought and have received consultation from the veterans of the froum).

Before I do this I want to address some design issues. I am experimenting with a new method of index generation. The actual index portion of the index display will be generated each time a new posting is made. What this means is that you will not be surfing through 500 files every time you arrive. Instead you will be loading html pages the same as most pages on the internet. This will speed up load time dramatically.

Another idea that works with the above is to allow you to load multiple forums on one index (made practical with faster load times). This means I will have to make the posting area multi-forum.

There will be the traditional loading method as well. I will only have the speedy pages generated for 'reverse threaded' if you wish to have another method you will be forced to use the slower method.

Subsciption lists will be made for only a couple of the Tech forums at first. The list has always been a pain so I will likely not budge (I like the subsciption list regardless of its ability to cause trouble).
