'89 765 door lock frozen. Cheap fix![ALL/1988] posted by Topi on

While waiting my new key drivers side lock jammed solid. The other side worked fine so I thought it may fit and took my car to Volvo-George (Phelan, CA). He pulled both panels off, checked locks and found out you can swap arms & springs and make them to work on either side (dealer will tell you; "It won't work"). I prefer some pro, like George, to work on 700-serie interior stuff. If you don't exactly what you're doing you can mess up many things and get MORE rattles! BTW: Volvo- George is into V8 conversions, too. Does nice job!
