Interminent Stalling Problem FIXED. '87 245DL, B230F[ALL/1988] posted by Mr. Tool on

For a while (day and weeks) the car would run fine then stall. After sitting for a while, 15 - 60 min. it would start and run fine. Found the problem after the car died for good (finally). The fuel pump relay (located under the glove box) was filled with water. The circuit board and contacts were a mess. I replaced the relay (plug and play) and all is well. Now my next task is to figure out how the relay got fill with water. Probably the windshield.......... Mr. Tool .....

Check the windshield wiper on that side too. Sometimes water will migrate down the shaft and drip inside.
Don't know what it would take to fix it though (besides lots of Rainx and don't use the wipers).
Isn't it interesting that the water would just happen to find its way into an electrical device!
