BrickBoard navigation problems[ALL/1988] posted by Randy on

When I access the BrickBoard site I'm having problems following various threads. If I begin at the message index and click on an original message that has several responses I can read the original message and one or two (sometimes more) responses before the thread runs out. I know the thread contains more messages because the number of responses is listed on the message index. Clicking on "next" (because "next response" isn't available) puts me onto another thread. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and does anyone have any suggestions on how I can solve it. Thanks in advance.

The 'problem' isn't really a problem but an overly strict script design.
The threads look like so:
First in thread>> Second in thread>> Third in thread(first response to this second response)>> Second in thread(2nd response to first in thread)>>
So when you get the the 'Third in thread' message it does not show the '2nd response to first in thread'.
It definitely would be nice to have all of the related files followable from every message in the entire thread. However this 'set' style is difficult because the 'First oin thread' could be archived and so forth. In a sense the dynamic design is worki ng against this needed feature. So I would have to give up something to get what I want the script to do.
Okay, that may not have been to clear. BUT what you can do is set the board to display reverse threaded and follow from the front page into the depths of any thread.
