850 Turbo Oil Leak[ALL/1988] posted by Paul Lim Hing on

I have a 1994 850 turbo sedan with 135,000 km. I notice an oil spot under the car yesterday. After examining the underside of the car, there seems to be oil leaking between the oil pan and transmission. This might be caused by a leaking oil pan gasket or a main rear seal. I would like to find out if anyone has had similar problem and provide me with any info.

The rear cam seal can leak and appear to be the rear main seal. This is much more common than a rear main seal. The rear cam seal is located under the cam position sensor at the end of the exhaust cam.
