Will I Fit and Be Comfortable!?[ALL/1988] posted by David Lundeen on

With a 6'7" frame (38" inseam) will I be comfortable driving a S/V70 over long distances?
I have been behind the wheel before for a maximum of 20 minutes for a test drive during which I was very comfortable. Head room wasn't the greatest and knee clearance is what I am used to. The "telescoping" steering wheel helps my fit quite a bit. (No, I'm no poet)
I know that swedes are on the taller side, in fact I am from Swedish decent. Is there any way to alter the seat position? What about a seat height adjust?
Thanks,
Dave

My V70AWD has seats that are electrically adjustable in more ways than I have use for, with three memory settings as well. Height, tilt, back angle, etc., are all variable. Try this out on a model at your dealer. You may find it is what you need...

Dave,
If you are willing to wait you can order an S or V built without a sunroof. This will take somewhere around 6 weeks to 2 months depending on where you are located. You will pick up about 2-3 inches of head room and will be guarrenteed no leaks from the sunroof. :-)
I do not know of any way to relocate the seat.
This would be a very tricky and possibly dangerous operation as it would affect safety.
