Chie,
The tape is also refered to as helicopter tape . Yes, the tape is made by 3M, but
is cut by Volvo. Helicopter tape is very common on the racing scene. It protects the fronts of indy-style cars ( as well as many others ) from stone and other debris. It comes in 2" and 4" wide rolls of a 100 ft . The 4" wide roll lists for $155.00 dollars US and you have to cut it yourself.
