I might be totally wrong, but what I seem to remember is that the OEM pads has some metal content while the PBR Deluxe pads are constructed with softer materials. I have the PBR MetalMaster with SS lines and Brembo X-drilled rotors. It does stop better than before, but I wouldn't mind going to the full 14" Brembo setup!
I think it makes sense that we can cook our brakes, Volvo put the same system in there 850s with 120HP 2.0L engines, so how do they expect this setup to be sufficient enough for the 240Hp R engines (not to mention our 280Hp engines). By the way, if you decided to go for the full Brembo setup, get it from Stillen. Stillen is the supplier of Brembo stuff for IPD, therefore, the price is cheaper than buying from IPD. --
