The thing i posted about was the high temp switch on back of compressor cutting out clutch due to slightly low refrig and high ambient temps. In really hot weather they have been cutting out when the refrig is at full level. The remedy is to bypass switch as the car has a high press cut-out switch or sensor depending on fuel system used that protects from high temp.
An orifice refrig control a/c system can freeze if the pressostat is cutting off at too low pressure (lower than 23 psi before it cuts off compressor).
