For all of you folks who may be changing the timing belts on Volvos with B230 engines - CAUTION - It is fine to take the crank pulley bolt OFF with an impact wrench, but do NOT use an impact wrench in install the bolt!!! These engines have cast cranks, not forged ones. It is possible to break the end of the crank off using an impact wrench on them to install the bolt. IT should be installed according to the manual directions with a torque wrench. --
