New V70AWD, pollen filter location?[ALL/1998] posted by Douglas A. Gerard on

I have a V70AWD that so far has been the picture of perfection. No defects, no problems. I understand the car has a pollen filter for the interior. Any idea where this is? It gets changed at 20,000 miles, so I still have plenty of time to search for it...

Access to the filter is by lifting the black plastic cowl cover which surrounds the wiper arms. It is at the passenger side of the cowl directly at the bottom of the windshield. You do not have to remove the entire cover but unscrew the one corner and bend it up. The filter pops right up.
