1990 240DL-Blue 2 wire connector on Right headlight harness-Whats it for?[ALL/1998] posted by Stoney on

I found a blue 2 pin connector that is part of the right headlight wiring harness and does not appear on the Bentley wiring schematic...anyone know what this is for? I assume that there is one on the left side under the battery and will check this weekend. I also forgot the wire colors I'll check that as well.

But could this be for

A)Headlight wipers (the mounting holes are there with lil plastic covers)

B)Driving/Foglites

C)The much discussed "side marker lites"

D)Aux Cooling fan

E)Volvo trying to drive us nuts with extra wiring-"It'll cost ya 50,000 kroner to get an answer"

Abe, Robert, Mark, Sven ???

Can I use these for anything-I'd love to wire my Hella Driving lites to 'em!

BTW The Spotted Owl Mousse was delish!!!

I believe it may be for the rear washer pump if the car is a sedan (and therefore not equipped with the 2nd pump).

Actually you can wire your driving lights to them, but they'll only work while you're washing your windshield.
