What happens if i install another expansion tank cap
The cap is marked 75kPa, perhaps a cap marked 100kPa or even 150kPa would be a better choise.I have another quiestion, "240 cooling problem" an maybe changing the cap would do a difference to the problem. If there is anyone with any experience or ideas i would be gratefull.
Henrik.

After refilling the expansion tank i can drive on as if nothing has happend. this is the same every cold start. When

I believe your car is intended to have the 150kPa cap. Sounds like your thermostat might be waiting a little too long before its opening. This would be relatively cheap and easy to try. And get the cap, too.

I checked today, the '84 and older 240s take the 75kpa cap. The '85 and newer take the 150kpa.
