I have a 1981 262 Bertoni Coupe
In very good conditation, 81k miles on it.
Could someone give me a fair asking price for it?

Bertone...Nuccio Bertone....Bertone Coachworks....
This could be considered a relatively low mileage auto, and if it is in pristine shape....I mean near perfect....without seeing the car............1981 was the last year for 262C....
Also depends on where you live.
What is your serial number?
Where do you live?
What has been replaced on the car?
Is the title clear?
How's the body?
What kind of maintenance records do you have?
If all the above are answered correctly and the car is throughly checked...
You could ask maybe $5000.

a complete description would be helpful. Please supply as much information as is possible per Paul Seminara's request. Where'd you get "Bertoni"? My Bertone has no "I" in or on it???

Could this be the famous Volvo 262C Bertoni once owned by Bruno Samartino the legendary "Pasta-fazoul Pulverizer" of the WWF? It has fenders by Lasagna, springs by Ronzoni, interior by San Georgio, and has a revolutionary lubrication system by Ragu!!!
(Another attempt at senseless Volvo Typographical Humor).

But it did, indeed, get a laugh out of me.

Does your Birtoni LaSagna run on petrol or is it a deisel? Also, does it have a Corleone leather interior? How are vinyl roof and white wall tires? If both OK, try advertising on "Florida Retirement Housing and News". (I'm poking fun 'cause ones lost my ass on this model..... Better luck to you! )

Hey I resemble these wise cracks....as an American with Italian roots - I love my Bertone!!! All the lower parts are the same as a 240 of the same year, so be careful with your jokes, Swedes!!!
Anyhow...what ever happened to the original poster???

Stoney! Please call Jarrod, immediately. He'll know what went wrong and where you can go for help. There are special people, willing to help in cases like yours. Certainly glad this dose not occur in my family.
PS:The deep fried, chocolate covered spotted owl went out this afternoon-UPS ground.

G.L. - Opps, Forgot to include that the accepted Blue Book price for the Bertone is $1550.00US. I paid $1700.00 for mine. The car is all original, never wrecked, all leather interior which is like new, air conditioning, stock radio, and everything works. No dings or scratches and paint is just so so. Volvo didn't get the metalic paint process down till around late 80's.
Tires, shocks and struts were all I really had to replace. Had the exhaust system re-piped from the headers back just because I wanted a good professional job under me.
Best Regards, Jim
