Does anyone have any info on a high perf. exhaust for my 765 Turbo? The only one I could find was thru Group 6. Any ideas on perf. increases? Thanks.

If you keep stock boost and the catalyser the difference will be very small. But if you run a straight pipe from the Turbo to the rear muffler with 15 to 17 PSI of boost you will really feel the difference.
What year is your 765. If you really want to increase your HP without spending too much money e-mail me. I actualy have a 88 760 Turbo "K" with more than 250 HP.

Hey Bob,i just read your message on the brick board and before anything
let's clear something. You dont need the Turbo + kit to increase
performance. The Turbo + kit is only a solenoide that bleed the
wastegate to make it close a little less. You can do the same with a
valve. First of all look on the driver side of your Volvo heads. If you
can see the letter "K" you are lucky. If you dont you wont be able to go
over 13 PSI. Suppose that you dont. Just cut line between the Turbo and
the wastegate, and install a "t" fitting. On the T side you can install
a valve. That way you will be able to adjust your boost. Start by
opening your valve just a little and go test drive. You can open the
valve just enough to keep your boost needle at the end of the white
zone. You will really feel the difference. At this level you will have
180-200HP depending of the air temperature.
If you have the K engine e-mail me. I will make you fly.

Hi Tiger, why don't you let EVERYBODY know your speed secrects? I love to see performance minded Volvo people, like you, to write interesting stuff. I've got '89 760 Turbo, it's a "K" block WITHOUT any K-marking. Seems not all '88-89 were marked. (K marking Tiger's refering means big 63mm main bearings rather than weak 55mm. Also, K has big trust bearing, too. K mark can be found on the timing cover and/or under block # number. Late blocks have A casted next to the oil filter). So - Tiger, let us know how to get CHEAP 250hp out of 230 Turbo! Thanks.
