When I am driving my automatic 89"740 the shift indicator light will come
on and the engine won't shift. I tried to get it to stop by pushing the button
on the gear shift that activates it, and it worked only once. Please help!

The overdrive relay is failing. this is very common. Replace the relay and all will be fine.
