I am looking to obtain a wiring diagram for my 1982 262 GLE. I am trying to troubleshoot a problem with the fuse panel. I do know of the service manuals available from Volvo, but I am trying to find an alternative before ordering it.
And the Chilton manual is about worthless unless you need directions on how to fill your car with gas. Any help/advice would be great.

Hey I resemble that......The wiring diagrams in Chiltons make great eye tests.
I havn't found too many errors in the Chilton books diagrams, but they are confusing.

Hi Jack
I know of the chilton book. It could have been better in many ways, but the book you should get hold of is the Volvo 240 Service manual. Published by Robert Bentley ISBN 0-8376-0285-8. I know it way cost a bit, but it is a bible for us volvo people. There you may find the ansvear to your problem
