Turn signal, 1986 245DL B230 4-sp/OD[ALL/1998] posted by Sam on

The turn signal has begun to blink at a slow rate. There are no bulbs out
so my guess is the relay. Would a bad relay cause this problem? Any
other suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

ps- Where would this relay be located and what does it look like.

If it is blinking slow on both sides then your diagnosis is likely correct.
Low charging rate will also cause this but you would likely have other things also not working (or need to be jumped to start).
The flasher is behind the panel that is immediately next to your right leg on the driver's side. It is black and rectangular (1.25 X 1.25 X 1.75 inches) and is held by a clip to the brace that supports dash. It has three wires.
