I have an 83 240 Turbo and when I deaccelerate usually in third gear, there appears to be a gurgling sound comming from the exhaust system. I have checked all of the connections and where the exhaust pipe mounts to the transmission bellhousing seem to have something missing, like a clamp or hanger (I have not been able to get a decent picture of the exhaust fastening system yet, I will check the dealer this week for a picture on this). However the exhaust system appears to be tight and not rubbing anything. I have been told that this is normal for the turbos.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is this normal for 240T?
